Temporary Signage Request
What is the Temporary Campus Signage Request Process?
The Temporary Campus Signage Request process is utilized when a University Entity (e.g., College, Department, Registered Student Organization, or Direct Support Organization) wishes to place signage on university property to advertise an approved Reserved Activity.
Submit a Temporary Campus Signage Request
Submitting a Temporary Campus Signage Request
All design/content must be pre-approved by University Communications & Marketing (UCM). Please email usfbrand@usf.edu to initiate your request. UCM will review it, provide feedback (if edits are required), and initial approval via e-mail. Approval of the Temporary Campus Signage Request is contingent on the requestor having all sign design/content pre-approved by UCM. Requestors must attach a copy of the approval e-mail when submitting their Temporary Campus Signage Request form (PDF) to FM-ServiceCenter@usf.edu for final approval. Please complete the form in its entirety, or approval may be delayed.
Temporary Campus Signage Request Process Workflow
UCM provides initial approval of design/content. Submitting a Temporary Campus Signage Request form triggers an internal behind-the-scenes review by various campus stakeholders. These reviews will happen automatically when a complete request is submitted. Once approved, the requestor is required to pick up stickers, which must be visible on the corner of each posted sign. Signage without stickers will be removed and disposed of.
Temporary Campus Signage Request Process Targeted Turnaround Times
The Temporary Campus Signage Request Process is collaborative. We aim to provide sufficient awareness to campus stakeholders and ensure we best meet the Requestors' advertisement goals. As such, Requestors should plan for at least 15 days before advertising for their event.
