Ruth Bell '88
Senior Vice President, LifeLink Foundation
Ruth’s career has been spent in the public and non-profit sectors. She joined LifeLink
Foundation, Inc. based in Tampa, FL in 1995 and currently serves as senior vice president,
public affairs. She is responsible for public affairs and public education activities
related to organ and tissue donation throughout LifeLink service areas in west central
Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Ruth also oversees the
Multicultural Donation Education Program in Georgia and the LifeLink Legacy Fund,
a supporting organization of LifeLink Foundation, Inc. Focus areas include branding,
volunteer management, media relations, social media, materials production, community
relations, donor registration and government relations collaboration. She is an active
member of several professional organizations and locally participates with Athena
Society, Tampa Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., The Tampa Chapter
of The Links, Inc., University of South Florida (USF) Black Leadership Network, USF
Women in Leadership & Philanthropy, USF College of Education Dean’s Advisory Council
and most recently USF College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Advisory Council.
Ruth has a B.A in mass communications from Arizona State University in Tempe and a
MPA from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
