History Harvest uncovers thought-provoking stories in the community

When Helen Sweatt submitted an old photo of herself to USF St. Petersburg’s History Department in September of 2023, its historical significance initially went unnoticed. The image was part of the first-ever History Harvest where community members were asked to bring their family heirlooms and participate in a conversation with students about the object's significance and meaning.
