BIOGRAPHY

Dennis DeBeck is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Communication at the University of South Florida.

Dennis’s research interests include topics such as social support, social identity, psychological reactance and military communication. In his master’s degree program, his thesis focused on peer support in an undergraduate classroom. He looks forward to continuing this line of research as well as branch off in other areas of research (military communication, etc.). He currently situates his research area at the intersection of interpersonal and organizational communication, and mixed methodology guide his inquiries.
