Nine students enrolled in the School of Information's M.A. in Library and Information Science (MLIS) program have been awarded scholarships for the 2019-2020 academic year. Congratulations to our outstanding scholars!
Four students received the H.W. Wilson Scholarship, which is a scholarship for students preparing to serve in any type of library and is open to both graduate degree students and certificate program students. Winners include:

- Scott Perry
- Leslie Walbolt
Three students received the Patricia Andrew Cone Endowed Scholarship, a scholarship in memory of USF alumna Patricia Cone, who worked as a school media specialist. This scholarship is intended for non-traditional students who, like Ms. Cone, attended graduate school later in life and have a committment to serving children and young adults. Applicants must be a graduate of a Florida public high school, a graduate of a Florida public university, and a Florida resident. Winners include:

- Brenda Turnage
Two students received the Johnie Key Thompson Scholarship, a scholarship for degree seeking MLIS students preparing for library careers with youth services (including K-12 media). Students in graduate degree and certificate programs are eligible. Winners include:
- Gretchen Dreimiller
- Sarah Korb
