Dr. Christina Eldredge Appointed to HIMSS Committee

USF iSchool faculty member Dr. Christina Eldredge was recently appointed to the Professional Development Committee at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), a caused-based, not-for-profit organization that ensures healthcare has the best information and technology talent available.

HIMSS is a global advisor, thought leader and member-based society committed to reforming the global health ecosystem through the power of information and technology. As a mission-driven nonprofit, HIMSS offers a unique depth and breadth of expertise in health innovation, public policy, workforce development, research and digital health transformation to advise leaders, stakeholders and influencers across the global health ecosystem on best practices.

The HIMSS Professional Development Committee engages HIMSS members to develop tools, resources and content related to workforce and career development in health information and technology. They focus on professional development and lifelong learning initiatives designed to sustain all levels of stakeholders, ranging from early careerists to advanced professionals.
