In early May, Associate Professor Dr. Loni Hagen hosted an insightful workshop on Computational Methods for Social Sciences & Humanities Scholars, covering a range of topics essential for researchers in these fields, providing valuable tools and techniques. Cyber Florida recently conducted an interview with Dr. Hagen to serve as a recap for this workshop and provide examples of how it will further enhance teaching and research in several fields. Cyber Florida, established in 2014, is dedicated to making Florida a national leader in cybersecurity through education, research, and community engagement. Hosted by the University of South Florida, Cyber Florida works on behalf of the State of Florida to create a robust pipeline of cybersecurity talent and to conduct groundbreaking research.
