Computer Access Information
MyUSF Portal
The MyUSF portal requires a NetID, which can be activated at this link.
MyUSF provides access to:
USF Email (faculty/staff/students)– web version of your USF email
Canvas – online teaching tool
Application Gateway – free access to many USF licensed software from home or laptop
Library Services – browse catalog, view journal articles, etc.
GEMS Self-Service – view paychecks, request leave, and other employment functions
Parking Permits – purchase or renew Tampa campus parking permits
Directory – online directory of staff, faculty, and students
NetID, USF Email, and box cloud storage
Your NetID is the handle used for your email address (NetID@usf.edu) and login ID for all USF System. Box is the official cloud storage provider for the University of South Florida and it uses the same login ID. Contact the faculty owner for faculty lab folder access and use this form to request access to the Public folder of the Psychology department.
Box PSY Public – department phone list, letterhead templates, instructions, etc.
Faculty lab folders – used by faculty, grad students, and research assistants to share
documents and data
