Bio
Muhammed Erdem is a PhD student in Government in the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies. He received his Master’s in Political Science from USF where his thesis was “The Role of Elites in the Formation of National Identities: The Case of Montenegro.” Muhammed is a Turkish government scholarship recipient and holds two Bachelor’s degrees in International Relations and Public Administration. His primary areas of research are Balkan politics, nationalism and nation-building, ethnic conflicts, and the EU’s common foreign and security policy.
