Bio

Maria Gonzalez-Malabet graduated with her PhD in Government from the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies. She was born in Barranquilla, Colombia. She got her Bachelor Degree in International Relations with an Economic focus from Universidad del Norte (Barranquilla-Colombia) . After she graduated, she started working in the Office of Public Relation and International Cooperation in Universidad del Norte and, later, she worked in the Faculty of Humanity and Social Science as Dean’s assistant, at the same institution. Additionally, she worked in the Consulate of Colombia in Miami.

Maria has also taught Spanish in the World Language Department at USF.
