Bio
Retired as a brigadier general, US Marine Corps, after over 30 years of service to include three tours in Vietnam and in Operation Desert Storm. Received ten personal awards for combat including two Silver Star Medals and the Purple Heart Medal. Served on President G. H. W, Bush’s Commission on the Assignment of Women in the Armed Forces. Taught at the US Army ‘s JFK Center for Special Warfare and the Marine Corps University.
Retired after ten years from USAA as a Senior Vice President and General Manager in Tampa. Retired from the Marine Corps University Foundation in Quantico, Virginia, after eleven years as CEO and President.
Taught at St. Leo University in 2003 and from 2015-2019. Began teaching at USF in 2017. Married a Marine and have three adult children and four grandchildren.
