ABOUT ALEKSANDRA RESTIFO
Aleksandra Restifo is an Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Florida International University. She holds a PhD from Yale University and specializes in Jain intellectual culture, particularly in Prakrit and Sanskrit literature. Her upcoming book, The Theater of Renunciation: Emotion and the Self in Medieval Jainism, has been selected as one of three finalists for the Claremont Prize by the Institute of Religion, Culture, and Public Life at Columbia University Press. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes, including the Journal of Indian Philosophy and the International Journal of Jaina Studies.
