Originally from Martinique in the French West Indies, Marcel Maslowski A.I.A. embarked on his educational journey at St. Petersburg College (SPC), where he laid the foundation for his career in architecture, before receiving a Master's in Architecture from the University of South Florida's School of Architecture and Community Design (USF SACD).
Marcel is now President and Director of Design at Fleischman Garcia Maslowski Architecture (FG+M), where his design approach to architecture has made an indelible mark on the built environment. His practice focuses on serving and enhancing our communities through socially responsible, sustainable, and value-enhanced designs that inspire positive communities, ensuring a better world for generations. His notable projects include the USF Judy Genshaft Honors College, the Hanna City Center, the New Tampa Performing Arts Center, the Starkey Ranch Theatre Library Cultural Center, and the African American Arts & Cultural Center in Tampa. Prior to FG+M, Marcel was also one of the architects of the new St Petersburg Pier.
Beyond his architectural achievements, Marcel Maslowski A.I.A. is a guest professor at St. Petersburg College (SPC) and the University of South Florida (USF). His commitment to education mirrors his architectural ethos, as he imparts knowledge and fosters the next generation of architects and designers to share in his vision of enhancing communities through design.
