Three Architecture Alumni Have Portfolios Featured in a New Book

Three School of Architecture and Community Design alumni have been featured in the new publication Constructing the Persuasive Portfolio: The Only Primer You'll Ever Need by Auburn Professor of Architecture Margaret Fletcher.

The publication, published by Routledge Books, includes the portfolios of architecture alumni Derek Pirozzi ('12), Israel Sanchez ('15), and Joshua Riek ('15). Their portfolio designs work to show readers the art of designing a compelling architectural portfolio.

Constructing the Persuasive Portfolio strives to show readers how to succeed in the most important design exercise of an architect's professional career. With 400 portfolio example from 55 designers, the release aims to be the only portfolio design book aspiring architects will ever need.

Margaret Fletcher is assistant professor of architecture at the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture at Auburn University.
