Verb Ballets Dance Company Performs Work by Professor Andrew Carroll
Friday, February 17, 2017
The Ohio-based contemporary ballet company Verb Ballets performs 3:00 a.m., a dance composition by Associate Professor of Dance Andrew Carroll, during a tribute concert to the late Heinz Poll, choreographer and co-founder of the Ohio Ballet.
Verb Ballets not only performed the work at the concert at the Akron Civic Theatre, but also added the composition to its repertoire.
Carroll worked with Poll as a student, and he describes 3:00 a.m. very simply in an article by the Akron Beacon Journal, "The world is asleep and all that exists is this person that you're with."
See below for recent articles about the performance of Carroll's composition by Verb Ballets.
