Alumus Matthew López Wins Tony Award for Best Play
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) — Life has just gotten a little better for a Panama City native and Broadway playwright.
Matthew López scored his first Tony Award on Sunday night for his play, “The Inheritance.” Lopez
is also the first person of Latin descent to win the Tony Award for Best Play.
