USF Faculty & Alumni Unite for AI-Powered Pop-Rock Musical in NYC
University of South Florida professors and alumni team up for a groundbreaking pop-rock musical adaptation of "The Vampire." This innovative project features lyrics inspired by artificial intelligence and a captivating score by Dr. Clint Randles, Professor of Music Education and Co-Director of Contemporary Commercial Music at USF. The script adaptation is a team effort by Dr. Patrick M. Finelli, Professor in the School of Theatre & Dance, and Douglas Hall, Assistant Professor of Theatre who also steps into the director's chair for "The Vampire."
Matthew Knight, Ph.D., Curator of the Boucicault Collection at USF, played a vital role by transcribing the original manuscript. This ambitious production exemplifies the College of The Arts' dedication to artistic exploration and features the talents of our esteemed faculty and alumni.
