Katherine Butterfield is the coordinator of the Corporate Mentor Program, housed in the Muma College of Business. She works with first-generation business students to help them achieve their personal and professional development goals by planning events, engaging in academic coaching, and providing career counseling.

She is a native of Waycross, Georgia and a U.S. Navy veteran. She comes from a lineage of military families that spans five generations.

She earned a doctoral degree in educational leadership from Capella University, a master's degree in organizational management and a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration from Ashford University.
