Tim Ernest plans, promotes, and executes initiatives for the University of South Florida Nault Center for Entrepreneurship; including but not limited to pitch competitions, business challenges, recruitment events, cross-departmental collaborations, student organization coordination, speaker series, and various social media content series such as student spotlights. He previously founded two startups: a B2C AI SaaS company focused on generating test preparation materials — which he helped secure $100K in funding and successful admission to the LAUNCH accelerator; and a B2B SaaS company focused on curricular and co-curricular planning tools for students and advisors in higher education.
He is a strategic management consultant to a handful of startups, coaching founders on securing funding, hiring and managing software teams, and developing early-stage market research and go-to-market strategies. He also runs a boutique social media management company that services clientele in the health care and robotics space. His previous research focused on continuous quality improvement projects in pediatric outpatient hospitals and clinics.
Ernest earned an MBA with specializations in entrepreneurship and innovation and creativity from the University of South Florida, a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences and a bachelor’s degree in marketing with a concentration in sales from the University of South Florida.
