Sonam Singh is an assistant professor of marketing at the Muma College of Business. Her research examines the financial outcomes of marketing strategy, with a focus on applying cutting-edge AI/ML techniques and econometrics to address managerially relevant questions. She specializes in B2B firms’ strategy and the impact of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors on firm performance. Her research has been published in premier journals, including the Journal of Marketing Research and Harvard Business Review. Singh also writes op-eds, offering practical insights for businesses.

Singh brings over a decade of global industry experience, having collaborated with leading organizations across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. During her industry tenure, she was recognized with several accolades for her contributions to driving business growth and profitability. Her expertise in large-scale data analytics has allowed her to collaborate closely with senior executives, empowering them to make data-driven decisions that enhance strategic outcomes. Singh’s ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies has helped organizations across diverse sectors achieve measurable success.

Singh earned her PhD in Marketing from the University of Texas at San Antonio where she was recognized as “Student of the Year” for her outstanding research excellence. She also earned an MBA from the UTSA Carlos Alvarez College of Business and a bachelor's degree in computer science from BIET Jhansi.

Research
