Vita
Xu Xu is an assistant professor of instruction at the Kate Tiedemann School of Business and Finance in St. Petersburg. Xu teaches both undergraduate and graduate students, specializing in investment courses. Additionally, Xu is dedicated to teaching principles of financial planning, where she imparts practical knowledge and skills drawn from her extensive experience as a financial planner at Aptus Financial.
Before joining USF, Xu was an associate professor at Henderson State University, where she played a pivotal role in developing their fully online MBA program. Her interdisciplinary expertise spans economics, data science, education, and finance, enriching her research and teaching. Her research has been featured in academic journals including Information Economics and Policy, Economic Inquiry, Economic Modelling, Current Issues in Tourism, and the Journal of Career Assessment.
She holds a PhD from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
