Healthcare Analytics Concentration
The MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Analytics is an online concentration that prepares graduates for a career in healthcare management. The goal of this concentration is to produce graduates who have the skills necessary to support the healthcare industry, manage large amounts of data, and make timely decisions based on that information. The capstone course focuses on integrating concepts through project work and applied cases.
Concentration Requirements – 15 credit hours
In addition to 15 required hours of MBA coursework, students must complete:
- MAN 6930 Healthcare Management (3 Credit Hours)
- ECP 6536 Economics of Health Care I (3 Credit Hours)
Two of the following two courses
- GEB 6255 Advanced Negotiation (3 Credit Hours)
- ISM 6316 Project Management (3 Credit Hours)
- ISM 6930 Fundamentals of Data Management and Analysis (3 Credit Hours)
- ISM 6930 Data Visualization (3 Credit Hours)
- ISM 6436 Operations & Supply Chain Processes (3 Credit Hours)
Healthcare Analytics concentration requires the completion of the capstone course: GEB 6895 Integrated Business Applications (3).
