College sets record, awards over $1 million in student scholarships
The USF Muma College of Business kicked off the fall 2023 school year by hitting a major milestone: over $1 million in scholarships were awarded to business students for the academic year. About 300 business students from all three campuses received financial awards from over 110 different scholarship funds within the college.
USF alumnus gives $10 million to name the Nault Center for Entrepreneurship

Muma College of Business and Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy receive global reaccreditation
AACSB International, the world accrediting body for business schools, extended the global accreditation in business to USF’s Muma College of Business and a supplemental reaccreditation for the Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy. As a result, both USF’s business and accounting degree programs are accredited for the next five years.
Bellini Certification Program integrated into business undergraduate program
Nearly 3,000 students at the USF Muma College of Business received an introduction to building high-demand marketable skills thanks to a new certification program integrated within the undergraduate business curriculum. The college launched the Bellini Certification Program in the fall 2023 semester.
USF’s online MBA program jumps into nation’s top 20 in U.S. News ranking
The online MBA program in the USF Muma College of Business climbed a substantial 12 spots in the national rankings, taking the No. 19 position — No. 15 among public universities — on the annual U.S. News and World Report survey of the 2023 Best Online Programs.
Randy Dumm takes helm at USF’s expanding Baldwin Risk Partners School of Risk Management and Insurance
Randy Dumm was appointed director of the Baldwin Risk Partners School of Risk Management and Insurance. The school continued an expansion that started last year when Baldwin Risk Partners donated $5.26 million to grow the program and rename the school.
Economic competitiveness data unveiled at 'State of the Region' event
Researchers with the USF Muma College of Business published the 2023 Tampa Bay E-Insights Report and shared their findings at the sixth State of the Region community luncheon. The research helps gauge how the Tampa Bay region compares to similar metropolitan areas.

Prominent executives from the Tampa Bay region sat down with Interim Dean GJ de Vreede in three installments of the Conservation with a CEO event series. Enrollment grows to 8,400 business students
The number of business students continued to grow, climbing 8% over a year. In the fall 2023 semester, the Muma College of Business welcomed over 8,400 students, with 6,500 undergrads, 1,800 graduate students, and 110 doctoral students.
