Accountancy Students Perform Graduation Flash Mob
Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy students celebrated graduation by performing choreographed moves to music medley
TAMPA – Accountants boring? Not these recent USF graduates.
Students from the USF Muma College of Business Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy celebrated commencement by performing a choreographed dance routine to a medley of pop tunes.
School director Stephanie Bryant came up with the idea while watching an episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show.
"I really want the School of Accountancy graduates to be excited about being alumni," said Bryant. "So I thought what can I do to make them excited, so those two ideas just came together."
Students from the school's honor society choreographed the number and taught it to their fellow classmates. The surprise routine was performed for the graduates' friends and families during their graduation reception.
