Student Spotlight - Paul Robertson
A senior majoring in finance, Paul Robertson is a member of the USF Ambassadors, a select group of students chosen to represent the university. He was also chosen as one of 25 students in the College of Business to be recognized in the college's 25 Under 25 program, which honors students under of the age of 25 who demonstrate excellence in two of four areas: scholarship, professional development, leadership, and community/campus service.
He currently serves as an intern for AT&T, where he conducts information systems management. In the past, he has interned for Congresswoman Kathy Castor and for the Orlando-based law firm Anderson and Anderson P.A. Robertson, who hopes to practice corporate law someday, says the College of Business has given him an edge on the competition.
"My professors have provided me with real-world insight into today's business world, and although I plan to begin law school upon graduation, I am, now, more prepared than ever to enter the corporate community. The education I have received at USF is second to none."
Robertson, who serves on the university's Committee of Black Affairs, was recently accepted to Stetson University and Michigan State University for law school.
