Ms. Cruz is a Social and Behavioral Researcher in the Department of Child & Family Studies at the University of South Florida. Her background is in Psychology and Mental Health Counseling. She has research experience in adolescent substance abuse, stigmatization of parental help-seeking behaviors, and the early detection of early cognitive impairment in neurodegenerative and other brain disorders. She is currently involved in evaluation research for the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
