The Institute Welcomes the Fifth Cohort of Scholars!
January 31, 2018
At the start of the 2018 spring semester, the faculty and staff of the Institute for Translational Research Education welcomed the newest cohort of Institute Scholars. An orientation was held in January to prepare our new scholars for participation in the Institute and to introduce them to the ITRE executive committee, peer mentors, and academic mentors. This year, we are excited to welcome eight Scholars representing the University of South Florida, and four Scholars representing Northern Arizona University! Cohort 5 is comprised of students from all educational levels with varied backgrounds and research interests, including public health, rehabilitation and mental health counseling, psychology, criminology, occupational therapy, and social work. Join us in welcoming our
2018-2019 Institute Scholars: Dylan Bilyeu, Julie Cheney, and Jade Heffern from NAU-Flagstaff; Amy Armstrong-Heimstoth and Molly Hahn-Floyd from NAU-Phoenix; and Amanda Armstrong, Tracy Bales, Joshua Goldman, Rebecca Liller, John Martin, Amanda Sharp, Lacey Tucker, and Renee Wallace from USF!
