Katelyn (Katie) Smith is a criminology doctoral student at the University of South Florida. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Henderson State University in 2016, a master’s in communicology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2018, and a master's in criminology from the University of South Florida in 2023.
Her research focuses on technology-facilitated crime, deviant online communities, and theory backed methodologies.
