Bolesta Center for Listening & Spoken Language
Carson is a state licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who holds her Certificate
of Clinical Competence. She is currently practicing as an SLP at the Bolesta Center,
located in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She provides Listening
and Spoken Language driving therapy to individuals with hearing loss and varying medical
backgrounds. Prior to August of 2024, Carson practiced as an SLP within Hillsborough
County Schools and private practices. Her clinical area of specialty is working with
infants and children with hearing loss to achieve a listening and spoken language
outcome through a family centered model and older individuals retrain their listening
skills following cochlear implant implantation.
