Dr. Ralston joined USF as Audiologist and Hearing Clinic Director in 2023. Dr. Ralston has had a long and varied career as an audiologist, devoting the last 20 years to the field of pediatric audiology. Prior to joining USF, she was employed at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, where she served as a Level IV Audiologist, Audiology Manager, and as Assistant Director of Audiology in the Hearing & Speech Department. Dr. Ralston obtained the American Board of Audiology’s Pediatric Audiology Specialty Certification in 2017. She is the inventor and co-developer of the HearPlay App, a suite of tests and games for conditioned play audiometric testing. Her areas of interest include audiologic evaluations, hearing aid evaluations, fitting, and maintenance, Auditory Brainstem Response evaluations, and Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) evaluations.
