Initial Plan of Study
Students are assigned to an Initial Plan of Study (IPS) which specifies the sequence for completing the first two semesters of required core academic coursework (Fall, Spring) and the clinical practica for the first three semesters (Clinic I, Clinic II, Clinic III).
A sample IPS sequence is shown below:
Semester 1 Fall (12 credit hours):

Advanced Plan of Study
An Advanced Plan of Study (APS), specifying the sequence for completing the remaining required core academic coursework and specialty courses in Semesters 4-6 and the clinical practica for Year 2 (Advanced Practicum, Externship I and Externship II), is developed for each student.
