CBCS faculty ranked in top 2% of cited scientists in the world

Multiple CBCS faculty members have been ranked in the top 2% of cited scientists in the world in a recent study conducted by Stanford researchers and Elsevier BV. Separate data are shown for career-long and for single recent year impact.

Seven CBCS faculty are included in the rankings for their single year (2021) impact: Ladislav Volicer, MD, PhD; Bill Haley, PhD; Joan Reid, PhD, LMHC, CRC; James Unnever, PhD; Brent Small, PhD; Howard Goldstein, PhD; and Ross Andel, PhD. 

Ten faculty are amongst the top 2% of cited scientists for the duration of their career: Volicer, Haley, Goldstein, Small, John Cochran, PhD; Julie Serovich, PhD; Michelle Bourgeois, PhD; Robert Lutfi, PhD; Norman Poythress, PhD; and Donna Cohen, PhD.  

The ranking method is based upon a composite of standardized metrics and is led by Stanford University statistician John P.A. Ioannidis.
