CBCS students and mentors recognized at 2022 Undergraduate Research Conference

CBCS students presented their research at the 2022 Undergraduate Research Conference and were commended for their outstanding work. Joseph Walton, PhD received the Faculty Award for Excellence in Mentoring Undergraduate Research, and Megan Kirby, MEd, BCBA received honorable mention for the Graduate/Professional Student Award for Excellence in Mentoring Undergraduate Research.

Representing Language, Speech & Hearing Sciences, Lena Bayyat and Jade Brown received the Audience Choice Award for the Tampa Research Showcase for their research titled, "The Relationship Between the Perceptual Accessibility of Vocabulary and K-3 Students’ Narrative and Expository Language." Megan Kirby and Matthew Foster, PhD served as their project mentors.
