MHLP assistant professor and students appear on Inside USF podcast

Kristin Kosyluk, PhD, Katrina Paschke, and Christian Marquez

Kristin Kosyluk, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Mental Health Law & Policy, was joined by USF students Christian Marquez and Katrina Paschke on Inside USF: The Podcast Friday to discuss the mental health crisis in the U.S. The two students shared their lived experiences with mental illness and stigma and Kosyluk provided professional and personal insights.

Marquez and Paschke were members of the cast, and Kosyluk served as lead producer, of This Is My Brave – College Edition, a OneUSF Production, which brought stories of mental illness into the spotlight to break down stigma. The content of This Is My Brave – College Edition, a OneUSF Production was created under the Department of Education’s arts learning grant, REACH (Race, Equity, Arts and Cultural History), and has also received generous support from the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute. Listen to the episode here.
