MHLP professor joins ASHA podcast

Khary Rigg

Khary Rigg, PhD joined the official podcast for the American Speech and Hearing Association, ASHA Voices, for a discussion on opioid misuse and hearing healthcare. Rigg was invited to discuss his recent paper about the connection between opioids and hearing loss, and the clinical implications of the opioid epidemic for audiologists. He also discusses the overlap between populations at risk for hearing loss and those at risk for opioid misuse and offered tips on how to address the topic of drug use with patients.
