Nathan Maxfield, PhD, CCC-SLP, recently stepped into the role of interim chair of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Dr. Maxfield joined the CBCS faculty in August 2005 after earning his PhD at the City University of New York, Graduate Center. His research focus is on cognitive neuroscience and investigations of speech, language, and hearing processing, and his clinical focus is on working with people who stutter.
