Monica Nelson, a fourth-year PhD candidate in the School of Aging Studies, received a Ruth L. Kirschstein Predoctoral Individual National Research Service Award for her project titled, “Contribution of Contextual Factors and Neuropathology to Dementia." Monica will use the grant to complete her dissertation focused on investigating biological and contextual risk factors for incident dementia.
