Khary Rigg, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Mental Health Law and Policy (MHLP), was selected as a Public Voices Fellow by AcademyHealth. As a member of the fellowship's inaugural cohort, Rigg will work toward increasing the public impact of the nation's underrepresented thinkers and ensuring that their ideas are heard and uplifted. He will receive training from professional journalists through The OpEd Project to effectively bring ideas to the mainstream media.
