The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) and Assistant Professor Alexandra Brandimore, PhD, CCC-SLP recently hosted the Tampa Voice Conference. Held in partnership with Dysphonia International and the Tampa Spasmodic Dysphonia Support Group, the event provided free education to speech-language pathologists, ENT physicians, students, and patients within the Tampa Bay community. Expert presentations were provided by Yael Benssouson, MD; Darla Freeman, SLP-D, CCC-SLP; and Dysphonia International Executive Director Kim Kuman on best practice, current research, and the future of voice disorders management.
