Representative Kathy Castor visited the Trafficking in Persons - Risk to Resilience Research Lab on the St. Petersburg campus last week. Rep. Castor requested $963,000 in funding to support the lab, which was recently distinguished as the first statewide repository for anonymous human trafficking data in the country. If approved, the funding would support the lab's aggregation and analysis of data that would inform Florida's anti-human trafficking efforts and stakeholders and aid law enforcement.
