School of Aging Studies alumna returns as distinguished lecturer

Jung Kwak, PhD, MSW, FGSA, associate professor at the School of Nursing at the University of Texas at Austin, visited USF's Tampa campus to present “Integrating Social Care and Caregiver Support in Hospital Settings” as part of the School of Aging Studies and Florida Policy Exchange Center on Aging Distinguished Alumni Lecture series.

Kwak is a graduate of the Ph.D. in Aging Studies program at USF. Her research focuses on improving access to and quality of long-term and palliative care that is more inclusive and equitable for older adults living with dementia and their care partners.

At the end of the presentation, Associate Professor Debra Dobbs, PhD presented Kwak with a plaque of appreciation for her outstanding leadership and scholarship benefiting older adults.
