Abby Paglia, a student in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) online master’s program, has been awarded the 2024-2025 USF Fellowship from Behavioral Consulting of Tampa Bay (BCOTB). The $10,000 fellowship was presented to Paglia by BCOTB Director of Clinical Services Heatherann Tenowich.
"I am very grateful to be the recipient of this year's fellowship award. The experience I am getting at BCOTB coupled with the learning from the MA program are proving to be invaluable as I continue with my career," said Paglia. "I feel very fortunate to be both a student at USF and to be employed by BCOTB."
The ongoing collaboration between the ABA program and BCOTB enhances the educational experience for students like Paglia and promotes their academic and professional aspirations through internships, scholarship opportunities, and job placement after graduation.
“BCOTB has been a steadfast partner to the ABA program, and we’re grateful for their continued support in empowering our USF students and advancing the field of behavior analysis,” said Anthony Concepción, PhD, the online ABA Master of Arts program chair.
"We are incredibly proud of Abigail—not only for her achievements in the MA program but also for the meaningful impact she’s making with the children she works with at her fieldwork site," continued Concepción. "We’re thrilled that BCOTB recognizes her potential by awarding her this scholarship."
