CSD students provide free hearing screenings to the local community

The team offers free hearing screenings.

Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) students teamed up with the USF Health Byrd Alzheimer’s Institute and the Morsani College of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology to offer community members free memory and hearing screenings last week.

The CSD team was represented by Varsha Rallapalli, AuD, PhD, along with second-year audiology students Olivia Frick and Talia Diaz, and undergraduate CSD students Paige Edson and Fiorella Wu Cam. The group from the Department of Otolaryngology included Morgan Fuentes, AuD, fourth-year audiology extern Alexis Tavolaro.
