Vickie A. Lynn

Dr. Vickie A. Lynn, Chair of the Face-to-face MSW Program at the University of South Florida and Co-Editor of the Journal of HIV/AIDS and Social Services, blends her expertise in social work and public health in her role as an educator, advocate, and scholar. With more than ten years of teaching experience, Dr. Lynn focuses on interdisciplinary collaboration and fostering a cooperative educational environment. Her involvement in Interprofessional Education Day at USF Health highlights her commitment to interdisciplinary learning, bringing together students from various health disciplines to enhance their understanding and cooperation.

Dr. Lynn's approach to education is informed by her extensive professional experience, where she aims to prepare students for the evolving demands of healthcare. She advocates for integrated care and the importance of teamwork in health settings, equipping her students with skills essential for effective interprofessional practice. This focus on practical, collaborative education is central to her teaching philosophy.


In addition to her educational contributions, Dr. Lynn also dedicates her efforts to her role as Co-Editor of the Journal of HIV/AIDS and Social Services. Through this position, she further contributes to the field, staying at the forefront of research and discussions around healthcare delivery and the challenges associated with health conditions like HIV.
