Meet the Instructors
Elzar Camper
Elzar Camper is managing director in the National Risk and Advisory Services - Cybersecurity Practice for CBIZ Inc. With 20+ years of experience as a global security leader and advisor to U.S. ambassadors, foreign governments, and executive leadership, Camper’s career includes deep experiences in program management, international cybersecurity, and physical security.
Camper’s career includes roles as global head of protective service at SAP and work as a U.S. Diplomat and Federal Law Enforcement Official with the U.S. Department of State. He led global cyber insider threat initiatives, counterterror and counterespionage operations and investigations. He also led information security programs at multiple U.S. embassies and consulates.
At CBIZ Pivot Point Security, Camper is responsible for the consulting services that include threat modeling, risk and vulnerability assessments, application and network penetration testing, cloud security, third-party risk management, M&A Due Diligence Assessments, DevSecOps, compliance, privacy, and regulatory advisory services.
Camper earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a Minor Computer Science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, and two Master of Science degrees from Penn State University, one in computer software engineering and one in information science. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager, and completed certificate programs such as the SOC for Cybersecurity Certificate, Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge, and Criminal Investigator Training Program.
Jeff Carden
Jeff Carden is a FedRisk Consultant with the CBIZ Pivot Point Security group within the CBIZ Risk & Advisory Services practice. He has worked in the information technology industry for 33 years. His expertise is in infrastructure, cloud, hyper-converged architecture, and cybersecurity in the roles of engineer and manager.
Carden’s career includes work with small PC startups, mid-sized managed service providers, and large multi-national manufacturing, logistics, and industrial companies on both the defense contractor and commercial sides of the business spectrum. He currently works with defense contractors and the U.S. Department of Navy as a security compliance lead and consultant. He is familiar with FAR/DFARS compliance as prescribed in the frameworks of CMMC and NIST. He also has a background in incident response, business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and ransomware mitigation.
He earned two degrees from the College of William and Mary, a bachelor’s degree in engineering and an MBA. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager, and holds Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification – Registered Practitioner.
Warren Hylton
Warren Hylton is a senior consultant with the CBIZ Pivot Point Security group within the CBIZ Risk & Advisory Services practice. He has worked on CMMC readiness and implementations since the model’s 2020 rollout. Hylton has significant strength in NIST SP 800-171 controls, the Department of Defense assessment methodology, CMMC assessment procedures, and FCI & CUI data flow planning.
Hylton earned an A.S. in Computer Science from St. Phillip’s College. He also earned Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification – Certified Professional and is a Certified Business Continuity Professional.
