College of Education Professor elected to executive committee of UCEA
TAMPA, Fla. (November 28, 2017) – USF College of Education Professor William Black, PhD, was elected to the University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA)’s Executive Committee during the organization’s annual convention in November.
The UCEA is a consortium of higher education institutions committed to advancing the preparation and practice of educational leaders for the benefit of schools and children. The organization includes 90 higher education institutions that represent the top research institutions with programs in educational leadership and policy, and is the leading professional organization for professors of educational leadership and policy.
Dr. Black is an associate professor in the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies program in the Department of Leadership, Counseling, Adult, Career and Higher Education. He serves as co-editor of the Journal of Cases in Educational Leadership, a journal that offers a wide range of cases relevant to educational leadership preparation efforts across the globe. Dr. Black also serves as co-editor of Research and Theory in Educational Administration, and on the editorial board of the Journal of School Leadership.
