College of Education faculty, graduate students to present at 2018 AERA Annual Meeting

More than 60 faculty and graduate students from the College of Education will participate in the American Educational Research Association's 2018 Annual Meeting as invited speakers, research authors, mentors and award recipients.

TAMPA, Fla. (April 9, 2018) – The research of more than 60 faculty members and graduate students from the University of South Florida College of Education will be presented to the educational research community at this year's American Educational Research Association (AERA) Annual Meeting from April 13-17 in New York City.

The AERA Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of scholars in the field of education research, and is a showcase for ground-breaking, innovative studies in a diverse array of areas, from early education through higher education and from digital learning to second language literacy. The 2018 Annual Meeting is expected to attract more than 14,000 attendees who will learn from more than 2,500 sessions — including major addresses, panel discussions and research paper presentations. The theme for this year’s meeting is “The Dreams, Possibilities, and Necessity of Public Education.”

Attendees from the USF College of Education will be participating in a variety of sessions as invited speakers, research authors, mentors and award recipients. The following individuals from the USF College of Education will be presented awards at the AERA 2018 Annual Meeting:
