USF College of Education Bulls attending the 2023 American Educational Research Association (AERA) conference gathered for a social networking event at Pizano’s Pizza in Chicago. As part of the conference week, alumni, doctoral students and faculty enjoyed engaging in academic and professional conversation while having the opportunity to meet with Dean Rolle.
“It was such a great time, and I appreciated the opportunity to connect with new and old friends,” said Taylor Mowery. Currently, Mowery is pursuing her doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and is expected to graduate in 2026. She is on her way to being a three-time USF College of Education graduate.
The AERA Annual Meeting is the world’s largest gathering of scholars in the field of education research and is a showcase for ground-breaking, innovative studies in an array of areas. This conference was held from April 13-16. More than 70 USF College of Education faculty and graduate students presented their research to the educational research community.
The USF College of Education plans to have more opportunities for alumni, students and faculty to connect and network throughout the year.
