Stavros Center for Free Enterprise and Economic Education (Stavros Center) at the USF College of Education and Raymond James have partnered to encourage students in Tampa Bay to learn about managing money by playing the financial literacy game, Give-Get.

The USF College of Education now ranks No. 43 in 2023 compared to No. 49 last year (2022) among graduate schools in public universities. The overall ranking of the college’s graduate schools among public and private universities is now No. 54 in 2023 compared to No. 62 last year (2022).

High School aspiring educators visit the College of Education
Last week, over 100 high schoolers – all aspiring educators from River Ridge and Pasco e-School High Schools – were welcomed to the USF Tampa’s College of Education (COEDU). These students experienced a full-day of activities facilitated by college students, staff, and faculty; and, were able to engage in examples of hands-on, highly adaptive methods of instruction in the Collaboratory (i.e., a multi-functional STEM demonstration lab).

Education faculty and students to provide summer enrichment program and free tutoring to K-8 youth
A new federal grant will enable USF College of Education students to provide year-round tutoring to K-8 youth participating in the St. Petersburg Police Athletic League (PAL) and go towards a summer enrichment program developed by College of Education faculty and doctoral students.
