Dr. David Allsopp was honored with the 2023 Learning Disabilities Association of America award
Dr. David Allsopp, Professor of Special Education was selected by The Learning Disabilities Association of America (LDA)’s executive committee and board of directors as the 2023 recipient of the LDA award. The LDA award if the highest honor given by the LDA in recognition of Dr. Allsopp’s leadership, support and dedication in the field of learning disabilities.

Exceptional Student Education majors gain hands-on teaching experience at USF Pepin Summer Institute
The Pepin Summer Institute is an annual summer program that provides exceptional student education majors at USF with four weeks of practical teaching experience. For students at Pepin, the program is an opportunity to learn in a way that’s exciting and tailored to their needs.

USF students led their own classrooms as part of the Pepin Summer Institute, an annual summer program that gives USF students hands-on teaching experience while providing students at Pepin Academies an opportunity to continue learning outside of the regular school year.
